About the Chef
As far back as I can remember,
food has always been such an important and enjoyable part of my life. Some of my
earliest and fondest memories are of “helping” my mother and my grandmother in
the kitchen. I would sit for hours watching them prepare family meals.
Occasionally, I would be their test-taster. When I was old enough, I would take
an active part in the preparation, learning at a very young age the proper
techniques for cutting and handling food.
It should come as no surprise that my first job experiences were in the food
industry as a cook and baker. From there I moved on to catering.
Life takes many turns - marriage, helping my husband establish his business, and
starting a family. Still, through it all, food was always a constant occupation.
In my free time, I would devour cookbooks, food magazines, and all materials
concerning nutrition. Even my volunteer activities center around food, cooking
and delivering meals to those in need.
I decided, now is the time to realize my dream. I enrolled in the Culinary
Business Academy and became a Personal Chef.
